College Park Skyhawks Too Much For Birmingham Squadron

As the Skyhawks came into Thursday nights game, they sat at fifth in the Eastern Conference of the G league. Coming off a 3 game losing streak, the Skyhawks faced the 8-11 Birmingham Squadron and their big weapon Michael Hill. The Skyhawks prevailed defeating the Birmingham Squadron 111-93.


Jordan Bowden had a season high 25 points, two steals, two rebounds, and one assist. Seth Lundy, netted 19 points followed by Chris Silva, who had a dominate performance,knocked down 20 points and 10 rebounds. In addition, he had 3 assists , two blocks, and one steal.

Vit Krejci came away with a career high of 12 rebounds leaving Jarkel Joiner with 13 points and Brandon Randolph with 16 points.


This win was exactly what the team needed before going into the upcoming All Star Break. The Skyhawks, with a 12-8 record will travel to Indiana on February 22. and then head to Greensboro on February 24.
